Our Statement of Faith

We believe in God the Father who Created the heavens and the earth in six literal days; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, Mary. He lived a sinless life. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified on a cross, died, was buried,  and on the third day He rose from the dead! He ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of God the Father.  He is coming again soon, to judge the living and the dead.
 

Jesus Christ, the Word is God. God the Father is God. The Holy Spirit is God. There are no gods but one God.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, one holy Christian church, the communion of all true saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the physical body, and the eternal gift of life.

We believe that there is ONE God, omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient, and eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All things were created by Him.

We believe that man is by nature evil and in rebellion against God. Man on his own is bound for Hell, a place of eternal darkness, and torment unless the Father calls him to salvation. 

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God, yet fully man. Only through Jesus Christ can man find redemption from sin and have eternal life in heaven. Without Jesus Christ, man is damned and will spend eternity in suffering and torment apart from God in Hell. This Salvation is the freely given gift of God's grace, but can only be obtained through faith in His son, and our Lord Jesus Christ who gave His life as a perfect sinless and holy sacrifice in payment for our sin.

We believe in the deity of the Holy Spirit and Who is God and is given to the saints at their re-birth and indwells the Christian, enabling him to live a godly life. Regeneration and indwelling by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary to Salvation. We are made righteous by God's grace, through faith in Christ. Faith ALONE which brings salvation. There is NOTHING man can do to save himself.  Even faith itself comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, which is Christ and is God.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved to the resurrection of life, and those who are lost to the resurrection of damnation.

We believe that the Bible is the ONLY inerrant Word of God. In it we can find all instructions in righteousness, holiness and faith. It is our authoritative "handbook" for daily Christian living and the ONLY book necessary for our faith.

The Holy Scripture ( Bible) consists of the (39) books of the Old Testament (Genesis through Malachi) and the (27 books of the New Testament (Matthew through Revelation). The Scripture is the infallible, inerrant, divinely inspired living Word of our living God. The authority of the Bible is not based on the testimony or tradition of  man,  but on God alone, who is Truth. It is therefore the highest authority, and can be depended on fully and without supplementation. The whole and complete counsel of God, concerning all things necessary for God's glory as well as man's salvation, faith and life, is either expressly set down in Scripture or may be deduced from Scripture and the the infallible rule of interpretation of Scripture is the Scripture itself.
